Elevator

We have recently moved into a new building, The Susquehanna Commerce Center. We are on the 3rd floor of the building and I usually take the elevator. Well yesterday I wanted to see how far I could open the elevator door while it was moving. Well apparently the answer is as far as you want. However, the elevator comes to a complete stop once you open the door I would say 18 inches. I know this because I opened the dorr pretty far yesterdya and the elevator stopped. I let go of the doors, they shut and the elevator started moving again. I must admit I was worried that either the elevator wouldn't start back up, or an alarm would go off, luckily neither of those things happened. Just an FYI......

Alabama

I have been in Atlanta all week at a training session with Scientific Atlanta. In the class we have poeple form all over the US. One guy is from Alabama. This guy has had some interesting quotes.

1) "I don't understand the big deal about eating dog."
2) "I'd eat a human if he were cooked right."
3) "You know there's a skill to having sex with a goat."

After the goat statement he went on to tell us about the right way to go about doing it. Apparently it requires some boots a little to big for you and a river or some other kind of body of water.

ATL

Myself, Jerry, Troy and BNoon are all in the ATL (Atlanta) this week for dncs training. Basically learning how to do our new jobs. The training is very detailed and filled with info. The trip itself has had some good points besides the training though.
1) Jerry driving through the median strip to find a waffle house
2) BNoon's comment about his tongue feeling like a match stick.
3) This instructor we have has had about 10 totally unrelated jobs. SCUBA guy, drafter, WAN manager, Call Center, etc....
4) Noon doesn't like spicey food, but it seems we always end up going to cajun or mexican places to eat....BNoon must be hating us
5) The rental car beeping at Jerry for no apparent reason

I will try to update more as the week progresses, but for now that is all I have.
