OSS here I come again....

Almost 3 years ago I was in a Motorcycle accident and tore my ACL and LCL. So I had to get them replaced. They opted to replace them with cadaver tendons. Apparently tendons are stronger than ligaments so I guess you get longer use out of them? Anyway after the surgery I was sent to rehab at OSS. Then 2 co-workers of mine were sent there as well.



We have all since graduated from our rehab stint there, but it looks like I may have to go back. This past weekend I was doing a karate demonstration for a Support Our Troops gathering. I was to break 4 scalloped bricks



I have done this before so I didn't really think much of it. But for some reason these didn't want to break. It took me a couple of tries but I finally broke them, however I also hurt my arm in the process. So tonight I am going to good Ol' OSS for some x-rays. Hopefully nothing is wrong and this will be my last trip to OSS.

What's wrong with this picture......

I have been at my new job now for about 8 weeks. My group moved to the second floor my first week here, and I think some other groups are moving around as well. So I guess they decided it would be a good idea to put up some signs so people(visitors) know where different departments are located. So about 5 weeks ago they put up the sign you see. About a day after it was put up we noticed something different about the sign. See if you can spot what's wrong with the sign. And please remember it has been up about 5 weeks now.

Another Steak House

OK I am not a vegetarian or anything even close, but I do believe you can have too many Steak places.

I was driving home from work yesterday when I noticed they are putting a Longhorn Steak House in the Best Buy complex. Do we really need another Steak House? I started thinking and off the top of my head here are the ones I can come up with:
Hoss's East York
Hoss's West York
Lone Star
Logan's Steak House
Outback Steak House
Texas Road House
Charlie Brown's Steak House
Comb's Steak
Longhorn Steak House

not to mention the addition of a second Apple Bee's

Plus I am sure there are other Steak Places that I either forgot about or don't know about.

I thought it was innocent UNTIL.....

OK let me start by saying, I don't like Michael Vick or his brother. I never have and probably never will. And although I don't have a pet, i don't dislike them, I just think they set you up for disappointment further down the road(death). And although zcranium has already blogged about Vick, I am going to add my 2 cents, maybe even 3.

So I was watching SportsCenter yesterday and they reported that PETA was marching outside of the Atlanta Falcon's office yesterday because they hadn't fired Vick yet. THere are a couple of problems I have with this situation.
1 cent) Do these people get paid to do this? Don't people have anything better to do during the day on a Monday? Get a job people.
2 cent) Last I checked he wasn't found guilty, yet. So why should the Falcons get rid of him? How about we wait til he is found guilty of a crime BEFORE we punish him for it. Maybe that is why those people are free to picket, maybe they all got fired from their jobs.
3 cent) This one goes out to Michael Vick, if you by some miracle aren't convicted; find some new friends, get a new phone number, move out of Virginia, and open a pet store.
